I know how it feels to be in pain and have injuries that derail you, as this was my story. While pursuing my professional dance degree in college, I was forced to stop because of constant injury. I missed rehearsals, missed performances, and got set back too often to continue.
This was a blessing in disguise. Not only did I fall in love with physical therapy and how it got me back into performance mode quickly, but it led me to find my inner healer. I decided to switch my college major to Physical Therapy Assisting and in 2014, I started working as a licensed physical therapy assistant (PTA) specializing in post-stroke patients, orthopedic management, and balance issues.
This was my calling. I was so blessed that my patients were my biggest teachers and that I was able to focus on neural development treatment training (NDT) to continually help my stroke patients get fast results with their functional abilities.
Then life happened and in 2017, someone I loved passed away traumatically causing me to fall into self-destructive behaviors that were not in alignment with my healer self. I got stuck in toxic patterns which led to being hospitalized with a rare medical emergency. The doctors could not find a physical root cause for my issues, and there I came to the realization…
Health is not JUST physical… It is also emotional.
Thankfully, I was still connected to my inner healer. I had the tools that had been helping my patients for the past 5+ years, in addition to my holistic training. Remembering all of this gave me the “wake-up call” that I needed. I made the choice to release negative relationships and dedicated myself to healing my emotions as well as my physical body.
I sought out additional therapies such as Ion cleanse detoxification, doTERRA essential oils, living medical-grade water, and organic supplements for optimal cellular function and homeostasis. My desire to create an optimal environment for our bodies to thrive led me to become an Ion cleanse practitioner. This modality assisted me in easily clearing toxins from my body and relaxing my nervous system. I fell in love with its safe and effective ways of supporting my clients in detoxifying their bodies for improved overall health.
This is why I have created a holistic approach when working with my clients. No single medicine can heal the entire body. We need to focus not only on our behaviors and how they affect our emotional state, but also on which supplements are needed, the type of water we drink, and how we remove toxins from our lives. We must treat the body as a whole.
I am now fully dedicated to educating you on a more sustainable, healthier, holistic approach to healing, allowing for you to thrive, not just survive.
